Best photo editing book I have found! November 2, 2008 Kelby always produces a thorough and entertaining look at Photoshop Elements. This is the 3rd of his books I have tried. Each one has had wonderful shortcuts and settings information that make using the Adobe program much easier. You don't have to work through the whole book to learn just what you need to fix a problem either!

this book wasn't helpful for me, i returned it the first day. it's a good book for getting your photo chops together. for learning photoshop element moves, i wouldn't recommend this one unless you already have an understanding of photoshop.
Photoshop Elements 6 for digital photographers October 15, 2008 This is an excellent book with lots of color photos to guide you through the tasks. Instructions are done in steps which makes it easy to follow.
Very good for newbies like me! October 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A good step by step book where you learn by working through examples. Kelby and Kloskowsi are users and trainers of the software, so their instructions are very clear. Sadly, some of the cool features which are included in the Windows version are used in the book but these features are not included in my MAC version of Photoshop Elements 6. The authors point that out in their book that not all of their instructions are applicable to the MAC version. I suppose that it is possible that I just couldn't figure out how to use some features. E.g., the very cool face tagging feature either doesn't work on my brand new MACbook Pro, or I just can't figure out how to use it!
Great book! October 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
